Finally! Update 2.0 of Power Node is here. I’ve been working for almost one year on the update – so it does add quiet a bit of new things. There’s many under-the-hood changes but also quiet a few new front facing features.

Because I get quiet a few emails asking if Power Node is still being developed: Yes. It’s just a little more work than expected 🙂
Currently I’m working on Power Node 1.4 which will add an outline view, task nodes and node folding. I also have re-worked the copy and paste behavior so now pasting nodes/text will add those as sub-nodes vs. just creating a detached node tree.

ETA: It always takes longer than expected and people just get upset when I miss the deadline, so I’m not giving a specific date. But overall we’re talking here about a few weeks, not months or years 🙂
Power Node version 1.3 is now live! This update introduces direct node connections, enabling you to link two unrelated nodes seamlessly.
We’ve also addressed several bugs, thanks to your valuable reports.
You can update now via the Mac App Store or the app’s built-in update feature.

This update introduces the much-requested Auto-Layout feature, along with two different layout options (Horizontal and Vertical), each with three orientations. Now, you can focus on brainstorming without worrying about arranging your mind map.
We’ve also fixed several bugs and minor issues.
