We just pushed the Power Prompter 1.4.4 update to our servers. Customers using the direct download version from our website will receive the update automatically.
Mac App Store users need to be a little patient as the update still needs to go through Apple’s review Process.
The update itself is a small maintenance update:
- Fixed the “spinning wheel” bug during activation
- Fixed a bug which could lead to the teleprompter jumping to random places when using the iOS remote control app and scrolling the teleprompter window with the mouse.
- The “contact support” button is now hidden by default. Many users didn’t know that they can turn it off in the preferences panel and felt the button was too distracting.
- The app will now offer to move itself to the user’s Applications folder when started from the Downloads folder.
If you wan to update instantly just start Power Prompter and select “Check for Updates..” from the “Power Prompter” menu. The app will update itself.
